We are back! Jump in the Park' 2012 is alive and kicking and will take place Sunday 22nd July at the Sparrows Nest Park in Lowestoft.
We will have various stalls and attractions for this family funday and of course, MUSIC MUSIC MUSIC!

Charity Football Cup 2012

JUMP in partnership with Essex and Suffolk Water are holding a football tournament to raise funds for the charity. All the teams have been registered and the tournament is being held at Barnards Centre Point in Lowestoft on the 2nd June at 10:30. Everyone is welcome to come along and spectate and we will have various entertainment on the day including a raffle, music and a bar so bring the whole family!

Boston Lodge

At the end of March JUMP will take over Boston Lodge - a local youth centre in need of a major update. JUMP have big plans for the building and are working to turn it into a community hub where young people can gain all the experience they need to move forward in their life.
With a range of new training courses and facilities being made available, the scheme is being created to help young people gain the qualifications and experience necessary to go into further education, prepare for jobs and get all the life skills they require.

NEW GRANT SUCCESS INTENDED FOR RUNNING A BLACK AND MINORITY ETHNIC PROJECT IN LOWESTOFT!

JUMP has managed to successfully secure a £34,000 grant from the Big Lottery Fair Share Trust, after recognising and identifying the specific needs and issues of the young BME (Black and Minority Ethnic) communities in Lowestoft & Waveney.

The grant will be used for running an exclusive project targeting young BME people, between the ages of 13 to 25.

LOCAL YOUTH CHARITY JUMPs IN

Following on from Suffolk County Councils announcement that all local youth clubs will be closed and divested, local youth charity JUMP has announced its support to doing everything possible to ensure local young people don’t loose vital youth services and safe places to go.

JUMP delivers one to one mentoring to vulnerable young people aged 13 – 25 years along with offering a drop in service where all young people can access help and support from qualified mentors in a safe and controlled environment.
